No Assisted Suicide

No Assisted Suicide

Welcome!

In 2012, voters defeated Ballot Question 2 seeking to legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia in Massachusetts.

On June 30, 2016, Bill H.1991, seeking this same result, died in Committee.

On September 26, 2017, the Joint Committee on Public Health took testimony on similar bills with similar problems (H.1194 and S.1225).

Yet another set of bills was proposed in 2019 (H.1926 and S.1208).

On June 8, 2020, the Senate Committee on Public Health recommended that Senate Bill 2745 ought to pass.
